Creation
Akwaba Community (AC) is a non-profit organization founded on March 9, 2017 in Toronto. It is a socio-communitarian and non-political organization. Its scope of action covers the whole of Canada and is aimed at the entire French-speaking community of African origin.
Liability
Akwaba Community contributes to the cultural influence, economic prosperity and development of intellectual, social and technical skills of the French-speaking community of African origin.
Our history
Our vision
Akwaba Community (A.C.) is the immigrant’s first companion, guide and compass. It is a comprehensive reference tool to help new arrivals with administrative and social formalities. It provides the right information and promotes the services offered by the Canadian government and its social partners.
Particular emphasis is placed on welcoming and settling in newcomer families (housing, healthcare, careers and jobs, rights and duties). Akwaba Community (A.C.) contributes to the well-being of our community through collaboration and interaction with other associations and/or organizations with a similar or related vision.
